NEEDLES and PINS opened on the 1 December 2008 – Why ?
Like everyone else in the surrounding area, where do you go for a reel of cotton, a zip or sewing needles, all those small items you only need now and again, so you put of what you were going to do and wait until you have to go into Leicester or Hinckley, which if like me could be months. So a seed was planted which turned into a shop and here I am.
So if you need some thread to sew on that button or you need to replace a zip, well come and see me. You will be amazed at what comes under the term ‘haberdashery’. We have elastic, dressmaking pins, safety pins, Velcro, hemming web, various types of sewing needles, press studs, hooks and eyes, tape measures, thimbles, we even have pyjama cord, and that is just a small selection of our sewing range.
I also stock knitting yarns- Sirdar, King Cole and Stylecraft- knitting needles and knitting accessories.
I have a selection of x stitch kits –of which you can also order from the catalogues provided and also Anchor threads and Celebration ribbons.
I will gradually be building up the range, so if you need something come and see me and if I have not got it in I will endeavour to get it for you - within reason of course.
